A week-long training on Human Rights and Gender Based Violence GBV and the use of ICT in preventing gender based violence, organized by HOFNA will take place in Bamenda capital of the North West Region, from the 2nd to the 8th of November 2018.
The training aims at coaching young women aged 16 to 24 from the NWR (teenage mothers, students, victims of gender based violence, school drop outs, internally displaced young women and young women passionate about promoting women’s human rights), on how to use the social media and blogging to address GBV.
They will also be trained on entrepreneurship and servant leadership.
HOFNA is a not-for-profit organization with a mission to strengthen the leadership, power, and voices of vulnerable women and girls from disadvantaged communities and develop them into self-reliant and socially conscious leaders.
